Another Challenge?

I don't know if I'm ready to attempt something like this when I have other priorities...

Day 7: Dealing with delays

Ok, so 7 days in the relationship and I've got a bunch of things lined up and I'm having some doubts about how much I'm going to get done before the end of the month.


Still, My wife pointed out a very important point. The challenge isn't about making a perfect application before the end of the month, but to make _SOMETHING_ before the end of the month.

Back to the subject at hand. I've written and created some notes on my application. I'll either make a diagram of it on my computer or scan it and post it here.

Day 1: Space: The Theme

So today, I spent a lot of time just thinking about what I could do with the theme. It seemed like every time that I did, I kept going back to Star Trek. At first I was fighting it -thinking that something like that would be too obvious- but I gave in and my sub-conscience mind rewarded me with an idea that I feel would be kind of cool

Idea: It would be an application that emulates on of those computer interfaces that you see on star trek. It would show people's faces from iphoto that you select. It would look up the information that the person has in address book and then map and calculate the distance.

I see myself doing a lot of prototyping because I haven't touched any of the ideas for this and ultimately, I'd like to have something finished at the end of the month.

I don't know what I'm going to do at this point, but I going to follow to the end!
